    Requirements:

    • English language and local language
    • Good communicator
    • Attention to detail
    • Confident in using web search tools
    • Can work under own initiative
    • Ability to work flexible hours
    • Supermarket or retail sector knowledge is an advantage
    • Reliable
    • Camera or smartphone camera - 5 mega pixels or higher
    • Access to computer with Google Chrome browser
    • Living in high population area with access to both large and independent shopping outlets

     

    In order to be considered for this work, please apply by carrying out the following 5 steps:

     Photograph a Product

    Pick a drinks product from your fridge or cupboard and take photographs of the following against a plain white background using a >5 megapixel camera. Title with the following labels:

    1. Front
    2. Back
    3. Ingredients label
    4. Nutritional label
    5. Bar code

    Follow these instructions when taking your photo:

    • Product must be unopened and undamaged and standing upright, not lying down
    • Take photos in portrait mode
    • Do not use flash only natural light
    • Take a full product photograph of the front and back. Must be able to see the whole product package – no corners, tops, bottoms or edges cut off
    • Zoom in to take ingredient, nutritional and bar code photos
    • Photos to be taken against white background and surface. Use large smooth plain white sheet of paper. Make sure there are no patterns or lines showing and no dividing line between surface and background. The background needs to look invisible
    • For shiny packaging, try to shield from strong light
    • For text wrapped around the product, take several shots in a clockwise direction, so that all the text can be read
    • Clear sharp images only – we cannot accept blurred or out-of-focus photographs

    • Save Photos

    Save the photos as jpeg files and Zip them using WinZip into a folder (Do not zip using programs that provide .rar extension). Name the zipped folder by your name, city location and date e.g. Rosa Bling_York (21.8.17)

    • Send Photos

    Send your zipped folder to andrea.jenn@globaldata.com. In your email, please inform us of the dates you are available to take part in the project and where you saw the advertisement.

    • Complete the Excel “credentials” sheet with your details

    Complete the excel form. This is to capture information such as contact details about our shoppers around the world, and how many assignments you may be able to take up.
