Overview

Arena International, part of Global Data, runs over 80 international conferences and forums every year, with a thriving programme that is always expanding. Our portfolio spans numerous industry sectors and geographical regions, meaning the successful candidate will be open to travel internationally. As a Conference Producer you will report to the Portfolio Director and be responsible for producing and managing 5-8 annual events from start to finish.

What you will do

Typically you will spend 5 weeks producing a conference, and then up to 22 weeks managing its campaign. The typical cycle of responsibilities includes:

  • Phone based research to senior industry figureheads to identify key themes for the agenda
  • Copy writing to develop a strong agenda and creative marketing/sales content
  • Speaker acquisition through effective phone-based engagement and persuasion
  • Project Management of the campaign through supporting and working alongside sales and marketing teams; developing strong commercial acumen to deliver financial targets
  • International ravel to events to run the event programme on the day

What you will bring to the table

  • Diligent, well organised and able to manage time
  • Cold calling experience and assertive communication style
  • Confident, good phone manner, strong skills of persuasion and negotiation
  • Interpersonal skills to effectively brief and support project teams
  • Degree level of education or equivalent
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with a strategic or technical focus
  • A keen interest in Research
  • Confident communicator both in person, and over the phone.
