Our head office is in Basingstoke, UK, and we have regional offices in Madrid, Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, Mexico City, Buenos Aires and Frankfurt.

 

We are looking for a freelance consultant in COSTA RICA or GUATEMALA or JAMAICA or TRINIDAD & TOBAGO to carry out primary and secondary research to provide a comprehensive coverage of the beverage market around the world. Our location requirements move and change, so wherever you are, if you can bring these skills to our team, we would love to hear from you!

 

 

What you will do

  • Work on all research projects for a particular country market
  • Collect data, trends and opinion by interviewing key industry players face to face or over the phone
  • Collect data, trends and opinion by regular desk research and fieldwork, and continually seek new sources of information
  • Expand and build on our strong network of clients and key contacts in your country market, travelling to visit and maintain as appropriate
  • Analyse and manipulate figures, sense-check numbers and trends and enter them into our internal custom-designed systems
  • Interpret primary and secondary research, providing insight and value-added information and making actionable recommendations for our clients
  • Write clear insightful reports to support and complement research data

  • Maintain and protect at all times the confidentiality of GlobalData’s data and reports
  • Monitor trade and financial press/media, carry out store checks, revise historical data where required

What you will bring to the table

  • A minimum of 3 years within the custom Market Research industry
  • Confident to present results to clients (Industry Senior Management teams)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in developing and delivering reports, expert user of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work under pressure and on your own initiative
  • Academic and practical experience with both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
  • Exceptional written and oral communication abilities in both English and the local language
  • Bachelors or advanced degree in business, mathematics, or the sciences
