The Healthcare division of GlobalData is expanding its practices and is seeking an Account Manager with a strong new business focus to join our team. The role is focussed on positioning GlobalData’s offering to small and mid-tiered health companies across Europe, and to facilitate contact between the analyst team and potential clients to support product development.

What you will do

  • Develop and cultivate relationships at the highest levels within client base and prospects
  • Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity initiation through to closing the deal
  • Engage with C-level executives and articulate the GlobalData offering over the phone
  • Live/remote product demonstrations for prospects, trials and existing clients
  • Work with the medical research team to facilitate industry interviews
  • Achieve and/or exceed weekly and monthly KPI’s and sales revenue targets based on new business
  • Travelling to territory, meeting clients

What you will bring to the table

  • Experience in Account Management, B2B Sales, Business Development
  • Ability to facilitate and arrange high level meetings, build pipelines and execute business
  • Ability to effectively sell to complex organizations with multiple decision makers
  • Experience meeting with senior level executives within top Pharmaceutical organisation a plus.
  • A passion for the pharmaceutical industry a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Entrepreneurial approach, coupled with tenacity, drive and initiative
