We supply must have independent content, premium analysis and industry networking opportunities to thousands of senior decision makers.

 

GlobalData is currently looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Executive as an addition to our growing global sales team, representing the GlobalData Healthcare Practice. This will be a hybrid role with focus new business quota (Hunter). Any new business quota will also be retained. A successful candidate in this fast paced and innovative environment will demonstrate strength in identifying the customer requirements, collaborating internally, and selling solutions to an executive-level audience. This individual will be energetic, self-motivated, and an independent worker based out of our Singapore Office.

What you will do

  • Identify and understand the business goals, objectives, key customer issues, and new initiatives of clients and prospects in order to develop the appropriate response solution
  • Qualify the client’s organizational structure, available budget and decision process to ensure accurate forecasts of renewal business and new business growth opportunities
  • Demonstrate ability to sell high value information services
  • Strong understanding of subscription based services
  • Develop healthy business relationships with a broad set of senior executives, key department representatives, and functional users at clients and prospects
  • Solid grounding in business concepts of Healthcare Industry
  • Achieve consistent renewal and new business goals through effective sales pipeline management

What you will bring to the table

  • 2+ years of successful sales experience in Healthcare Domain
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Should know Mandarin / Cantonese / Chinese and proficiency in English is a must
  • Communicable, consistent over-achievement of sales quotas
  • Excellent communication skills, especially the ability to articulate a compelling message and influence, persuade and negotiate with all levels of people to achieve win-win situations
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Experience managing multiple complex sales cycles in conjunction with facilitation C-level meetings
  • Effective prioritization and time management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM applications
  • Experience in Healthcare, Pharma / Medical or Subscription Based Services
