    Working in a collaborative and vibrant sales team, the Senior Business Development Manager will target C-level executives within the IT and Technology space. Selling a market research and analyst service focused across the software and technology market, the Senior BDM will be responsible for winning new business accounts across EMEA and the USA. With industry leading training, excellent development and earning potential, this is an ideal step for an ambitious sales person. The successful Senior BDM will benefit from rapid career progression opportunities across the business.

    What you will do

    • Develop and cultivate relationships at the highest levels with new prospects and within the existing client base
    • Engage with C-level executives and articulate the GlobalData Technology offering over the phone and face-to-face
    • Live/remote product demonstrations for prospects and existing clients
    • Work with the Technology research teams  to understand themes and develop the product
    • Achieve and/or exceed weekly and monthly KPI’s and sales revenue targets based on new business
    • Travelling to territory, meeting clients and building key relationships

    What you will bring to the table

    • 4+ years’ experience in B2B sales. Business intelligence,  market research, analysis or other similar sales experience a plus
    • Ability to effectively sell to complex organizations with multiple decision makers
    • Ambitious and driven, coupled with an entrepreneurial approach
    • Coachable and willing to learn
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to execute a 360 degree sales role - facilitate and arrange high level meetings, build pipelines and close business
    • Strong active listening
