    We are looking for a new team member to carry out primary and secondary research to provide a comprehensive coverage of the beverage market around the world. You will join our team in Mexico City and support the Senior Research Consultants and Project Managers with research and analysis on Central American markets.

    What you will do

    • Work on research projects for Mexico and central America
    • Collect data, trends and opinion by interviewing key industry players face to face or over the phone
    • Collect data, trends and opinion by regular desk research and fieldwork, and continually seek new sources of information
    • Expand and build on our strong network of clients and key contacts in your country market, travelling to visit and maintain as appropriate
    • Analyse and manipulate figures, sense-check numbers and trends and enter them into our internal custom-designed systems
    • Interpret primary and secondary research, providing insight and value-added information and making actionable recommendations for our clients
    • Write clear insightful reports to support and complement research data
    • Create PowerPoint presentations explaining research methodologies, results, findings and conclusions
    • Support the sales team in communicating with clients, responding to queries and designing quotes and proposals for research costs
    • Meet deadlines as agreed with clients and internal project managers
    • Participate in industry events
    • Maintain the integrity of the GlobalData brand and reputation for added-value service
    • Maintain and protect at all times the confidentiality of GlobalData’s data and reports
    • Monitor trade and financial press/media, carry out store checks, revise historical data where required

    What you will bring to the table

    • A minimum of 3 years within the custom Market Research industry
    • Confident to present results to clients (Industry Senior Management teams)
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Experience in developing and delivering reports, expert user of Excel and PowerPoint
    • Ability to work under pressure and on your own initiative
    • Academic and practical experience with both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
    • Exceptional written and oral communication abilities in both English and the local language
    • Bachelors or advanced degree in business, mathematics, or the sciences
