    We manage over 100 events per year and staff will benefit from the opportunity of working on multiple event formats:

    What you will do

    Role Responsibilities


    Due to growth and expansion an exciting role to assist in all events sourcing activity for this fast paced international events company.

    • To work in conjunction with the Head of Venue Sourcing
    • Responsible for distributing Request For Proposals [RFP’s] to suitable venues
    • Use of venue sourcing tools such as Cvent
    • To be familiar with the company event requirements and how to determine suitable venues
    • To keep accurate records of venues’ availability and suitability – maintain and update databases
    • Manage proposals and pass on relevant information to the Head of Venue Sourcing
    • To collate and review materials such as floor plans, capacity charts and food and beverage information
    • Put together basic cost sheets and GPMs
    • To be aware of the company budgets and desired GPMs and be pro-active with suggestions on how to meet these
    • The ability to conduct basic negotiation with venues with a view to develop these skills in time
    • To become involved in contract processes and develop knowledge on these in time
    • Build relationships with key venues and suppliers internationally
    • To source suitable new venues in new locations and keep up to date with new venues opening around the world

    What you will bring to the table

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Industry working knowledge and experience – e.g. Event manager, agency background and/or hotel conference office/reservations/hotel experience
    • Experience of negotiation with venues or suppliers
    • Methodical approach to work with good project and time management skills - demonstrable ability to manage multiple projects at once
    • Good knowledge of excel and the ability to record financial information/update costs
    • Show good initiative and communication skills, specifically telephone techniques
    • Confident and friendly personality which is portrayed on the telephone and also face to face when meeting clients
    • A positive and determined approach and work attitude
