  • Overview

    As Consulting Director your responsibility will be to develop the business of GlobalData Technology within Western Europe, mainly but not exclusively within the area of custom research and advisory services (Consulting Solutions). This will be done in assuring sufficient margins and an increase in revenues within the framework of the pricing structures and product and service offerings defined by senior management.

    What you will do

    • Carry out customer visits, phone engagements and e-mail communications to present GlobalData Technology consulting portfolio to the customer and prospect base
    • Understand the GlobalData Technology product and service offerings and apply these creatively to solve customer problems
    • Create and articulate the sales and financial aspects of Consulting proposals
    • Negotiate the best payment conditions possible in line with GlobalData Technology policy and assure to the best of your abilities that we recover any late or non-payments in a timely fashion
    • Achieve your target of sales bookings of GlobalData Technology Consulting products and services in 2018
    • Track and communicate regularly your sales opportunities and status of open projects
    • Develop and manage relationships with GlobalData analysts as well as outside contractors who are used to fulfil Consulting projects
    • Maintain weekly the customer and prospect database in
    • Maintain in good order and regularly update all customer and project related files
    • Outline and maintain in detail action plans to develop key strategic initiatives as specified by management
    • Maintain a positive, spirited, cooperative attitude in working with teammates in all geographies of GlobalData Technology - including sharing information required to advance GlobalData business in customer or prospect accounts.
