    Are you a recent graduate with a passion for digital media? Verdict is looking for a creative, analytical and commercially minded publishing assistant to join our digital and print publishing department.

     

    This is an opportunity gain experience in the exciting and fast-growing world of digital publishing. You will be working closely with our editorial, design and business development teams to help manage and develop our portfolio of B2B publications, including 9 print and 7 digital magazines and apps, and more than 30 business websites and Verdict.co.uk in the wider group.

    What you will do

    As publishing assistant you will:

    • Monitor the performance of our products through regular reporting
    • Come up with new ideas to further develop and improve our publications
    • Be responsible for timely delivery of print editions to the production and design team
    • Liaising with the editors and other relevant departments to deliver as per production schedule.
    • Be responsible for the project management of new developments, such as magazine, website and app launches
    • Help with editorial work associated with the events we run.
    • Develop marketing strategies to help us reach more readers and advertisers
    • Be in charge of developing marketing materials about our brands and products
    • Help to maintain and update our social media channels

     

    There is also an opportunity to get involved with the creative and production side of our publishing operations.

    What you will bring to the table

    • You must be educated to degree level in a relevant subject
    • Have excellent communication and organisation skills, and be able to learn and adapt quickly.
    • The ideal candidate will have a high attention to detail and a creative mindset
    • A proven interest in digital publishing.
    • Knowledge and experience with InDesign an advantage
