    Asia Relationships / Account Manager Basic salary competitive + commission


    Purpose of the role


    To engage, invite and manage relevant senior b2b executives from Asia – China, Japan, Taiwan and Singapore to our conferences, seminars, award ceremonies, webcasts, workshops, briefings, roundtables etc.

    What you will do

    Main duties and responsibilities


    • To discusses business strategy, products, services and target client base with senior colleagues to identify how our portfolio of events could be of assistance 
    • To invite and confirm b2b executives for a portfolio of conferences, seminars and award ceremonies, including research, webcasts, workshops. 
    • To invite and confirm senior b2b executives to bespoke and tailored customer briefings, roundtables and workshops. 
    • Delivering personal attendee targets as outlined by the Manager / Director. 
    • Develop written collateral for existing and new projects, translate various written documents from English to Mandarin and other Asian languages and ensure they are culturally appropriate 
    • Engage with customers to identify their business objectives and propose relevant solutions from the events portfolio 
    • Manage existing relationships with clients in a professional manner 
    • To provide the Manager / Director with weekly reports and advise on any deficits 
    • To keep proper records of all conversations / relationships within SalesForce CRM System. 
    • At all times to ensure that no excessive claims as to the attendance or reach of any event is made. 
    • To ensure that the division fulfil its obligations to attendees 
    • To travel and help deliver events operationally in the APAC region,  addresses individuals, clients and other target groups to enhance the public image of the company 
    • Review, monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of events in the region


    What you will bring to the table

    Required Skills


    • Full professional proficiency in  Asian languages: Japanese, Cantonese, Mandarin; & Chinese ideally
    • Circa 2 years sales / account management experience
    • Relevant industry experience in consumer electronics 
    • Some public relations experience ideal
    • UK and Asia work experience / understanding of Asian culture
    • Bachelor's degree in relevant topic
