  • Overview

    Following continued growth across the organisation we are looking to appoint an HR generalist, based in London to support ongoing requirements across the UK. The successful candidate will report into the HR Operations Manager, based in the UK.

    What you will do

    • Employee Relations issues
    • Work on HR projects
    • Provide guidance around existing process and policies review the current HR policies and processes across the UK - update or create where required.  Ensure all employees are aware of, and adhere to, policies and local legislation.
    • Coordinate new starters paperwork including contracts, compliance with I9 requirements and benefits set up.
    • Working with our external advisors, manage the entire visa application process as quickly and cost effectively as possible.
    • Oversee leaver process from exit interview, collection of IT equipment, and closure of access to internal systems.
    • Liaise with the UK Payroll and Benefits team
    • Manage the corporate on-boarding programme for new hires ensuring consistency with the overall company framework but tailor to local requirements.
    • Ensure the accurate and timely update of HR records using the HRMS. Provide monthly or ad hoc reports where required.
    • Partner with business leaders to support all HR related enquiries to formulate quick, appropriate, business focused solution.
    • Support managers in dealing with employee relations and performance management issues.
    • Drive activities which enhance employee engagement with a view to reducing attrition.

    What you will bring to the table

    • An experienced practitioner, with sound knowledge of all aspects of HR.
    • Strong HR operations and administration expertise.
    • Experience in setting up and communicating processes and policies.
    • A self-starter with a real sense of initiative who can think on their feet, not afraid to propose solutions or challenge where needed but understands when to escalate for input.
    • Through working style and relationship building, is able to raise the profile of HR across the region. 
    • Holds a strong work ethic, has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in their achievements.
    • Has a positive, outgoing and solutions focused persona.
    • Able to coordinate well, not necessarily knowing the answers all the time, but will use initiative to help people and resolve issues. 
    • Will work closely with the UK HR teams, so will hold strong communication skills and be committed to building firm relationships.
