As the business expands and more data sets and services are added to our portfolio, we are in need of a seasoned sales leader who can own and manage our ambitious sales plans for the Singapore market.

    Role: Sales Director, Singapore

    Function: Sales, APAC

    What you will do

    • Carry and own Singapore sales targets for key industry verticals such as Consumer, Healthcare, Financial Services and Construction
    • Manage a team of 15-20 sales persons who have individual sales targets for specific product groups and target customers
    • Develop detailed strategic plans for Key Accounts and BD Accounts for each industry vertical by accurately positioning products to the right departments and job titles
    • Conduct weekly sales update meetings with individual sales persons and develop detailed performance updates based on sales completed, sales in pipeline and daily sales activity done towards achieving targets
    • Perform regular analysis of sales data in order to develop better understanding of strategic levers and communicate key findings with team members to ensure greater sales efficiency and effectiveness
    • Participate in key client interactions over the e-mail, phone or face to face, in order to facilitate the sale into key accounts and BD accounts
    • Travel across the country to meet key clients in person
    • Report weekly sales performance of the team to the Head of APAC Sales
    • Support the sales team through operational management such as assigning accounts, obtaining approvals on discounts and pricing etc.
    • Act as a coach for the sales team ensuring that their ability to expand their sales and track their efforts on the CRM platform becomes a part of their regular work discipline
    • Develop presentations for meetings and conferences based on sales performance with comparison to previous year performance and targets
    • Align to changes in strategy and tasks associated with our APAC growth plans

    What you will bring to the table

    • Post Graduate or Graduate in any educational stream, additional degree or diploma in Business Administration, preferable
    • 12-15 year's of experience as in Sales Management in the knowledge industry

     

    Requisite Skills:

    • Proficient in the use of MS Excel, Powerpoint and Word
    • Knowledge of Sales Force CRM is desirable, though not essential
    • Highly proficient in spoken and written English
    • Excellent at oral communication
    • Good attention to detail and ability to discern patterns and draw business-related inferences from data of various types
